We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for supporting your local fire fighters. The Oak Ridge Fire Fighters Association represents the professional fire fighters of Oak Ridge and has been proudly serving our community since 1945. We have made saving lives and property our lifelong profession and are asking the business community to stand behind our efforts. In order to raise funds for our educational and safety programs, we are hosting a benefit concert featuring the band Resurrection - A Journey Tribute Band with songs like "Don't Stop Believin" "Any Way You Want It" and "Lights" The concert will be held Saturday, May 30th at 8pm at Chilhowee Park Amphitheater.

By purchasing tickets to the show you are helping to support our many outstanding programs in Oak Ridge, Anderson County and East Tennessee. Some of these include:

5. Sponsoring CAMP PHOENIX for severely burned children. This summer camp provides these children with a fun but safe place in which to recover.

5. GENERAL ASSISTANCE FUND to help families in both Oak Ridge and Anderson County who have been burned out of their homes.
5. Providing FREE SMOKE DETECTORS for those in need.
5. Supporting PUBLIC FIRE SAFETY EDUCATION in the schools and the community. The lives of our children is a #1 priority.
5. Ongoing TRAINING AND EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS for our Fire Fighters. This helps to ensure that we provide the most effective service to our community.

Fire fighters are rated as having one of the most hazardous occupations in terms of death and injury. Working with the citizens of the Oak Ridge, Anderson County and East Tennessee area perhaps we can change these statistics for the better. Ticket vouchers for the upcoming event are normally $28 each, we offer these special discounts for our local businesses.
